Testimony Tuesdays – Dawn Myers

Q: My first recollection of being in church was. . .

A: As a child growing up we attended a Baptist church every time the doors were open Sunday/Sunday nights/Wednesday.

Q: The closest I have felt to God in my life was . . .

A: Right now.

Q: The time I have felt the greatest doubt or distance from God was . . .

A: 15 years I was in my drug addiction

Q: If I could thank God for just one incident in my life it would be ______ and why?

A: My Rock Bottom.

Q: If I could thank God for just one person in my faith journey it would be _______ and why?

A: My grandmother, she never stopped loving me, she never turned her back on me, and most importantly she taught me about Jesus and Interceeded on my behalf when I lost myself

Q: If I could name a turning point in my life for my relationship with God it would be ________ and why?

A: A turning point in my life and relationship with God was when I hit my rock bottom, tried everything else, and finally stopped running from God and the call he had on my life 2018 soon after that I stepped into the Doors of Rahab’s Retreat and Ranch ran by a precious warrior of God and began my journey with Jesus. The people God placed in my life because I was at Rahabs have developed me spiritually into who God says I am. I continued to dig deeper when I went to WASOM and God continued to transform me through the school and our precious Apostle.

Q: If I had to tell someone why I am a Christian I would have to say. . .

A: Because nothing else fills that emptiness that we all search for except The One True King our Abba Father, Daddy God. I’m not saying it’s easy because nothing of this world is but I’m saying Nobody can do you like Jesus … it’s been a long long process but it’s so worth it. I don’t lay in bed and cry so hard with an empty feeling that something is missing because he had completed me.
