Q: My first recollection of being in church was . . .
A: I never knew NOT being in church. We went to church for Sunday school, Sunday morning and night service, Wednesday night prayer meeting, choir practice,  Monday night pot luck suppers, revivals, and Sunday night youth-MYF. And I went to Christian school from Kindergarten through my Sophomore year in high school. We had Bible class everyday, chapel once a week, sang in the choir and performed at other churches.
Q: The closest I have felt to God in my life was . . .
A: NOW! I’m 62 years old and see the majesty of God in all creation. I see death is closer, but I don’t fear because I know I will see my Creator when I die. 
Q: The time I have felt the greatest doubt or distance from God was . . .
A: When I was in my 20’s-40’s when I chose to do what I wanted. Stopped going to church. got into drinking and drugs.  But during all of that wildness I still knew it was wrong. Parents plant that seed in babies and children. They may stray but they will still hear the voice of God in their conscience. 
Q: If I could thank God for just one incident in my life it would be ______ and why?
A: That’s a hard- just one?  I have to say creating me in the mother and father HE chose for me.  They believed in God, hard work, discipline, helping, laughing, and honesty. Values that are not as prevalent in people today. 
Q: If I could thank God for just one person in my faith journey it would be _______ and why?
A: EASY. MY HUSBAND TERRY!  I’ll confess he started out as my boss in 1998. We were married to other people at the time and we started living together.  Yes it was wrong, but NEVER doubt that GOD ALMIGHTY CAN CHANGE ANY RELATIONSHIP!   Terry keeps me steady. Terry sees with his spiritual eyes when I’m looking through my physical eyes.  He demonstrates why a spouse that believes and loves the Lord is important. 
Q: If I could name a turning point in my life for my relationship with God it would be ________ and why?
A: Turning point was when Terry and I married in 2010 and got back in step with God. Terry is my 4th husband. Ive experienced being beat and almost killed by one of those husbands. Never went to church after my first husband and just bounced around after that until I met Terry. We’re been broke, sick, mad, happy, and healthy,  but we never lost our faith in God and His promises.  
Q: If I had to tell someone why I am a Christian I would have to say

A: Open your eyes and look in the sky and see that the earth is positioned so precisely from the sun that it neither burns or freezes without human help. Stars, moon, and planets are held in place without human help.The human body is so intricately made- humans have sex but they didn’t make the seeds. Trees, grass, and flowers know when to grow and when to sleep without human help. Oh and the colors of nature- created without humans. Oceans stay within their boundaries without human help.  How could anyone NOT believe that God created ALL?  How could anyone think that a big bang placed all this in perfect order? God’s word the Bible has been handed down from generation to generation- only God could make sure that HIS book would continue.  

I know that God gave His only son Jesus that died for me. How could I not believe.
