A: About 3 years old in the toddler nursery., Then singing in 4 year old choir.
Q: The closest I have felt to God in my life was . . .
A: Many times throughout my life. Significant was at 14 at my first Church Camp, when I accepted the Lord in my heart as my Savior.
Through my trauma/drama marriage. & each step of my healing as I felt loved, accepted, & regaining my emotions by allowing God to love all of me & loving Him with all that I am..
Q: The time I have felt the greatest doubt or distance from God was . . .
A: When I moved out of my home where I raised my children in an abusive marriage into an apartment. I felt guilty, rejected, unloved and began drinking & more & more (now I know it was to numb the pain, hurt, rejection, even though I did everything God asked me to do in my marriage).
Q: If I could thank God for just one incident in my life it would be
A: For not abandoning me..
Q: If I could thank God for just one person in my faith journey it would be _______ and why?
A: My teen church choir director.
The joy of the Holy Spirit shined through her through music.
Q: If I could name a turning point in my life for my relationship with God it would be ________ and why?
A: That would be during WASOM, 2nd year, the Book “Intercessory Prayer”, taught by Apostle Betty and the book “The Anointing” taught by Teresa Richenberger.
Why? – Apostle Betty and Apostle Dayna prayed over me during Worship one night that my heart would open up to feel all the feelings God gave us. I finally submitted all of my heart to God, and He has & is restoring feelings, & emotions, (What’s suppose to be normal, & is taking time to get used to) & a much deeper relationship (Sonship) with Him.
Q: If I had to tell someone why I am a Christian I would have to say
A: The only thing in life that is certain, always truthful, reliable, faithful, always keeps promises and shed blood, died for us and loves us through everything in life(ups and downs, wrongs and rights) is Jesus.
